CabinLife Cabin - FAQs
CabinLife Cabin FAQs
Do I require planning permission for my cabin?
If your chosen cabin is over 2.5m tall and within 2m of a boundary, you may require planning permission. Planning permission requirements do of course vary depending on your location and local council. All CabinLife log cabins are under 2.5m tall and therefore should not require planning permission. It is always best to check with your local planning office if you are unsure about your build, as restrictions can vary between local councils.
Do you offer bespoke sizes/changes/upgrades on the cabins?
If you require bespoke sizing that is not displayed on our site, please get in touch by calling us on 01236 727776.
Do you offer an installation service for cabins?
Unlike our other products, CabinLife Cabins are now installed upon delivery. The cabin is required to be self-assembled, but they have been designed as such to ensure that assembly is as easy as possible. If you require assistance with installation, contact us on 01236 727776 and we can provide you with help.
How long will installing the cabin take?
If you opt to install the cabin yourself, it will likely take 6-8 hours (this is based on a team of two people doing the assembly). This time of course varies depending on your experience and the number of people helping you.
Can I install electrics in my cabin?
If you wish to install electrics into your cabin, we recommend seeking advice from a professional to ensure that it is done safely, to avoid any potential fire hazards.
